Common Questions
What's the fishing season?
Central Patagonia's season runs November through April — the Southern Hemisphere's spring through fall. Most of our partner lodges' 2026/2027 season runs November 7, 2026 through April 17, 2027, with a 10% shoulder-season discount in November and April.
How do I get there?
Fly into Esquel Airport (ESQ), Argentina — most guests arrive on a Saturday. Ground transfers to/from the lodge are included in your package.
Do I need to be an experienced angler?
Not at all. Our guides work with anglers of every skill level — from first-time casters to seasoned veterans — and every stay includes fly casting lessons on arrival day.
Can non-anglers enjoy the trip?
Yes. Non-angling guests join at a separate nightly rate and enjoy the same rooms, meals, and lodge amenities — several of our partner lodges also offer spa facilities, rec rooms, and outdoor fire pits.
